It’s a Military history museum founded in 1947 with an outdoor aircraft park & a gallery with exhibits.
It has very rich and informative history of Indian Naval Aviation.
The only Naval aviation museum in all of Asia, was inaugurated in October 1998.
The museum is divided in two parts, outdoor exhibits and indoor gallery.
The actual aircraft, used by Indian Army are displayed in outdoor exhibits.
Inside gallery displays the military weapons, many rare and vintage photographs and documents,
articles about key battles the Indian Air and Naval forces have participated in.
It holds replicas of the INS Vikrant and INS Viraat.
and also variety of bombs, torpedoes, sensors and cannons used by the Indian Navy.
An aviation enthusiast or offbeat place lover must visit this place.
