The Naval Aviation Museum
It’s a Military history museum founded in 1947 with an outdoor aircraft park & a gallery with exhibits.
It has very rich and informative history of Indian Naval Aviation.
The only Naval aviation museum in all of Asia, was inaugurated in October 1998.
The museum is divided in two parts, outdoor exhibits and indoor gallery.
The actual aircraft, used by Indian Army are displayed in outdoor exhibits.
Inside gallery displays the military weapons, many rare and vintage photographs and documents,
articles about key battles the Indian Air and Naval forces have participated in.
It holds replicas of the INS Vikrant and INS Viraat.
and also variety of bombs, torpedoes, sensors and cannons used by the Indian Navy.
An aviation enthusiast or offbeat place lover must visit this place.
The picture-perfect sanctuary is an ideal destination for a day trip which has manageable size of just 8 sq. km.
It includes zoo, deer safari park, botanical gardens and Nature Interpretation Centre.
It is located in the Ponda Taluka of North Goa.
Except Monday, the park remains open every day throughout the year from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
The sanctuary is covered in moist deciduous forestation with a beautiful and the lush green vegetation.
It is famous for its successful breeding of gaur.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church
The church, Originally built in 1541 was replaced by a much larger structure in the 1600s.
The painted an immaculate white with a double flight of stairs zigzagging to the hilltop attracts tourists more
to visit it.
The head of the church, it forms a beautiful crown which is usually considered as the crown of Panaji.
the white color of the church, signifies the Immaculate Virgin, Mary.
Being a significant part of Goa’s history it can not be ignored to be included here even though a famous tourist place.
Built in 1612, with the capacity of storing 2,376,000 gallons of water,
one of the biggest freshwater storage of the time in whole of Asia.
The fort provided water supply to the ships that used to stop by, that is why it is called Aguada.
In the Portuguese language, Aguada means watery.
Currently, the fort houses a statue dedicated to the freedom fighters of Goa.
More than a monument, it’s a place where a significant part of Goa’s history was shaped.
Along with the history of the fort, you can enjoy the scenic beauty
of the grand citadel standing tall against the roaring waves of the Arabian Sea.
