Gwaldam base camp
Gwaldam is a peaceful town in the district of Garhwal, with a lake. It was a mandi (Market) for apple and potato trade. A small hub which leads to different areas and villages. Launching pad for the trekkers travel from Kathgodam (Nainital). Terminal on trekking route to Lord Curzon Trail, Nanda Devi Raj Jat and Roopkund.

Gwaldam to Didna village via Lohajung and Kulling
Didna and Kuling these two villages are very near to each other. Gradually descend towards the village from main road. Then descend further and reach at the Neel Ganga.
Then trek ahead is steep and ends at the Didna village, Which is situated at an altitude of 2450mts, 8000ft. The trail passes through from virgin alpine forests and huge trees. Chances to spot exotic birds very easily.
